Little Tangles Challenge #39 - Watercolour

I'm loving water colouring at the moment, so I was excited to see that this is our new theme at the Little Tangles challenge.

I was inspired by this amazing masculine card by Amy Tsuruta.  My watercoloring is maybe a little dark, it's also a bit messy but I like it like that ;)

Even though 'favorite' is spelt wrong for me here in Australia, I just had to buy this My Favorite stamp, it's just gorgeous and I love it even more embossed in gold!

Danielle's Special Delivery Blog Hop

I'm part of a special blog hop today, a blog hop to say congratulations to Danielle of Neat and Tangled stamps on the arrival of her beautiful baby girl Everly.  Congrats Danielle, I'm so happy for you!

For my card I didn't do any stamping which is unusual for me, but I did use some of the gorgeous Crystal Clear sequins from Neat and Tangled.  I also used some embossing paste on a stencil after colouring the paste with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.   To finish off the card I die cut a butterfly from white card stock and vellum, and cut the baby girl sentiment with my Cameo.  I coloured one of the baby girl die cuts with the same distress ink I coloured the paste with.

Hope you like it Danielle :)

The next stop on the hop is the awesome Mary Dawn, I'm sure she has a fantastic card for you to see.

The full blog hop list is below in case you've missed any stops ;)

Little Tangles #38 - Inspiration photo

We have a little summer time inspiration for you this challenge at Little Tangles. We have a great inspiration pic, I went with the colours and layout from the pic as such.

After die cutting the white card stock, I die cut a part of the die with some paper I had water coloured.   I then put it all back together on my card base. I finished the card off with a sentiment from a new stamp set (for me anyway) called Everyday Circles and added some enamel dots.
