Little Tangles Challenge #33 - Don't forget the envelope!

It's that time again! Don't forget the envelope, yes it's all about the envelope.  Last time I realised how much I neglect the inside of the card, now I realise I also neglect the envelope!  I love all the design teams creations, plus we have the amazing Jennifer McGuire joining us again as guest designer, so make sure you check out the Little Tangles blog.

Here is what I made, I did some water colouring with some distress markers and die cut the tag from the water colour paper. I also punched some hearts from the same paper for the envelope.  I used my Metallic gold Zing embossing powder yet again to emboss the sentiment.  And I just had to use some of the beautiful glitter paper from American Crafts. A pretty simple card, just the way I like it :)

Thinking of You

Thinking of you card

You have until Sunday March 30th to join in, I hope you do!

I am going to put this card in the latest Simon Says Challenge - Glitter it and I also drew inspiration from the beautiful shades of pink in the inspiration photo from Crazy for CAS.

I'm a bit late getting my post up unfortunately, the internet has not been my friend!  It's a great theme this time around - inside of the card.  We seem to neglect (well I do) the inside of the card most of the time, so it was fun to create something with the inside in mind.

It's funny, after I did my card I noticed my team member, Bettina did a very similar layout with the same stamp set.  We must have been on the same wave length that day!

Well here is my card, I used the stamp set Party Dots and some gold sequins from Neat and Tangled of course.  I tried out the Memento Luxe ink in Love Letter and was pretty happy with how it stamped.  I don't think I inked the stamp up as well as I could have though.  I used some new dies (new to me) from Lil Inkers to die cut the circle and just had to use my favourite gold embossing powder, Metallic Gold from Zing for the sentiment banner.
