Little Tangles Challenge #51 - Bling Bling

It's time to bring on the bling!  That's what the latest Little Tangles Challenge is all about.  You can't see if very well but my embossed background is sparkling away and I've added some rhinestones to finish off the bling.

I used the Neat and Tangled set, Fresh Blooms to make my tag.  I actually set out to make a christmas tag but detoured half way through, lol.

Little Tangles Challenge #50 - Embossing

I love embossing..... dry embossing, heat embossing and my new love embossing paste, so this is the perfect challenge for me :)

I created my own stencil using the Tiny Triangles die and used some Wendy Vecchi embossing paste to make the pattern.  I heat embossed the sentiment onto some black card stock and die cut the Hello word from some gorgeous Christmas Foil paper by American Crafts.

Hello Awesome

I'm going to put this card in the latest Less is More Challenge which is all about celebrating it's 200th challenge.  That is pretty awesome!

I've also revamped my blog using a new template from bellaluluink.  Chelsea has some gorgeous designs and had a great 50% off sale on the weekend so I couldn't resist ;)

I hope you can play along with us at Little Tangles.  Have a great day!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today I am honoured to be participating in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags post.  I love Tracey's blog, and she is such a talented and kind person. She leaves lovely comments on my blog on a regular basis, as I know she does on so many other peoples blogs too.  Thanks Tracey!

Today we are featuring products from Neat & Tangled.  Danielle has designed so many great Christmas images and it was hard to choose, but I decided to go with the Do Not Open stamp.  I also used some of her gorgeous sequins, can't go without those!

I have to apologise for the photography, I was having a terrible time with the light.

Little Tangles Challenge #48

It's time for another Little Tangles challenge, this time around it's a colour challenge.  Aren't these colours so great together!  I was rushing to put this card together but made it in time, life just seems to be getting busier and busier.........

To make my card I covered a white card panel with Peacock Feathers ink and then gave it a spray with a mix of perfect pearls and water. The shimmer looks great in real life.  The sentiment is from the Neat & Tangled Everyday Circles set which was punched out with a 1.5" circle punch and mounted on top of some lawn trimmings.  I added a kraft postage stamp die cut edge to the panel, and put it on a white card base.

Hello LT

Hope you'll play along, link up your cards here.

Little Tangles Challenge #47 - Inspired by the Design Team

Something a little different this week, we are asking you to make a card inspired by one of us, the design team.  I was inspired by the gorgeous card below made by Betty.  There were so many I could have chosen, but this one really stood out to me, I thought it was really elegant looking.

I went with a white card base and cut a card panel from white as well using a Lawn Fawn die cut.  I do love white on white so I heat embossed the heart stamp from the Kindness Matters set using my favourite white embossing powder from WOW. I finished the card off by stamping the sentiment from the You + Me set in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using Zing gold metallic powder.  I put the card together and rounded the corners to finish it off.

Not a lot to it I know, but I do love the clean & simple look!

I love you

I do hope you can play along, link up your entries here, and don't forget the winner gets a stamp set of their choice :)

I am going to link this card up with the latest CAS on Sunday challenge - Emboss it ...

Little Tangles #46 - Anything Goes

YES, anything goes!  So you have to come join us.

I decided to use the awesome You & Me set for my you are awesome card ;)  I stamp the image using some Memento Luxe inks, oh how I love these inks.  I stamp the sentiment onto Licorice Twist card stock using Versamark ink and embossing in WOW! Opaque Bright White powder.  I finished the card off with some black Doodlebug Sprinkles and attached the panel to a Licorice Twist card base.

I have to mention the latest Neat & Tangled release, it is fantastic, you must check it out here.

Awesome

Hope to see you playing along........  link up here :)
