Happy Mail For Grayson

Just before Thanksgiving, Danielle from Neat and Tangled, heard news that a girl she went to high school with and her family had embarked on an incredibly difficult journey. They had discovered that their sweet little 2 year old boy, Grayson, had a tumor on his brain stem. Since then they have been on a roller coaster ride, and this is only part of the journey.  Grayson will begin chemotherapy this month as the next stage of treatment. Through all of this, the family has stayed strong, hopeful, faithful and positive.  And Grayson is a strong and spunky fighter :) Grayson's mom, Jackie, has a blog she keeps updated regularly, so you can get to know more about Grayson HERE.

Danielle wants to just light up Grayson's life with some serious happy mail!  She talked to Jackie, and she informed her that Grayson and his brother love to get mail...and so, here we have the Happy Mail for Grayson Card Drive.

Grayson is super lucky to have a big brother, Aydan, who is 4 so make sure to send some awesome cards to him too! These boys love all things boy :) Rescue Bots, Geotracks, Angry Birds, Thomas the Train. Send these little men funny, happy, cards! We all know how much love goes into a handmade card, and even better how personalized they can be!"

Here is the important info:

The drive will run from January 21 - February 28
(If they arrive late because they are International that's okay too!)

Send them here:
Grayson Savery and/or Aydan Savery

Little Tangles #5 - all about buttons!

It's a special challenge this time around at Little Tangles, we have an extra sponsor and prize!!  The challenge is 'all about buttons' and as you can see from my card I have used a button from the awesome Chari Moss of MossyMade!

It took me a while to decide which button or buttons to use but I eventually decided on this cute hot pink one.  Check out the MossyMade store for more fab buttons!

I used the Little Tangles and Little Bear sets to make my card this time around.  Pretty bright but I like it  ;)

When participating in the challenges, we encourage you to use Neat & Tangled stamps, but it is not required.  If you don't have any Neat & Tangled stamps yet, that's okay, please still play along, and there are some FREE digital stamps over on the Little Tangles Challenge Blog you can use as well!

As for prizes this week, you still have the chance to win one stamp set of your choice from Neat & Tangled stamps AS WELL AS one free set of buttons from the MossyMade shop!

So make sure you link up your creation over on the Challenge Blog, you have until January 27 at 11:59 EST.

I am going to put this card in the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge - Round of Applause.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the challenge x

CAS-ology & Keep it Simple no. 2

This is the second card I made that I mentioned in my previous post..........

I made the card with a couple of challenges in mind, CAS-ology, which is New, so I used a new stamp I have from Amy Tangerine, and the Keep it Simple challenge, which is Wood, so I used a Studio Calico wooden heart on the card.

I must say the Mister Huey's spray went a bit out of control on this card, a bit more mist that I intended but not too worry.  I find I am often a bit heavy handed with them but love them all the same :)

Thanks for stopping by :)

Keep it Simple & CAS-ology

Hi!  I made the most of the power going out last night and made a couple of cards with a new stamp I have.  I must say the light wasn't the best and it was very hot as the air con was off obviously,  but I was still happy creating in my little space in the corner of the lounge room :)

I made the cards with a couple of challenges in mind, CAS-ology, which is New, so I used a new stamp I have from Amy Tangerine, and the Keep it Simple challenge, which is Wood, so I used some Studio Calico wooden hearts on both cards.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
