The Alley Way Stamps - Blog Hop

Welcome to the December release blog hop for The Alley Way Stamps!  You should have come my way from Lyndal's awesome blog, but if not don't worry as all the links are at the bottom of my post, just click on the person to go to their blog, or start at the TAWS blog :)

One person will WIN ALL THREE SETS Woo Hoo!  you have until 9.30pm TAWS time November 30 to leave comments.  For more chances to win, make sure to comment at the main TAWS post, follow the TAWS blog, comment on the design teams blogs, and share it on Facebook for one chance each to win all three sets!  The winner will be announced on The Alley Way Stamps blog.

The card I'm sharing today was made using the new set 'Petal Pushers' and a favourite set of mine, 'Jibber Jabber.'  I stamped the flower image in black and then punched it out with a 1 inch circle punch and placed the circles on some patterned paper from the Echo Park 'hello summer' paper pad.  You can't tell from the photo but the hugs sentiment is heat embossed in black and has a great shine in real life ;)

Make sure to check out the design teams blogs if you haven't already:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed the blog hop!

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC158

They are really pretty colours in the current Play Date Cafe Challenge so I had to play along.  It is a rather simple looking CAS card today but it took me ages, nothing seem to go right but I got there in the end, lol!

Thanks for stopping by x

The Alley Way Stamps - Sneak Peek Day 1

Hi there.  I can't believe we are nearly in December!  I do love this time of year but I don't like rushing around at the last minute so I really need to start buying christmas presents.  Speaking of December it is time for a sneak peek of one of the December releases for The Alley Way Stamps called Doodle Frames.

I made some very simple but I hope effective mini cards.  You may not be able to tell from the photo but I heat embossed the frame images using some WOW embossing powders I got recently, very bright but I like them ;)

Make sure you check out the TAWS blog for some other sneak peeks!

Have a great day x

CAS-ology

Happy Thanksgiving to my US friends, I hope you are having a wonderful day.  I am on holidays at the moment, I have another week to go, it has been so nice to have the extra time to make a few cards.

A very quick post as I just wanted to post the card I made this morning for the latest CAS-ology challenge, Gobble before I head out.  The HH has started playing gigs again which is awesome as he has a fantastic voice.  The older kids are babysitting so I can go and watch, I can't wait!  It's the first time the older kids have babysat their little brother though so I hope it all goes ok and I can relax!
