Cas-ology & Simon Says

Just a quick post today, so much to do!!  I love using lots of white on my cards, so the latest challenge from Cas-ology is perfect for me.  I used a stamp set called Fresh Blooms from Neat & Tangled.

As I used dry and heat embossing on my card, I am also putting this in the Simon Says Challenge - Emboss it and also the Moxie Fab Challenge - Focal Point.

Hope you like it, thanks for visiting my blog x

TAWS & The Play Date Cafe Challenge

The Alley Way Stamps is sponsoring The Play Date Cafe Challenge this week!  Check out the gorgeous inspiration pic!  I hope you get a chance to join in the challenge, there is a $20 gift certificate up for grabs :)

For my card I used the set, Priceless Joy.

Thanks for stopping by :)

The Alley Way Stamps - Love You

I'm back today to share a bit of love ;)  I made this CAS card using the flag from the Touchdown set from The Alley Way Stamps.  I used the 'love' sentiment from the Jibber Jabber set and the 'you' from the get MOOvin' set as well.

I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder 'pinking stitch' for the background and stamped the flag onto patterned paper from the Echo Park Metropolitan Dots & Stripes collection and cut them out.  I punched a small heart from red paper and applied glossy accents to it, as well as to the 'love' sentiment although you can't see it too well in the photo.  I tied some black floss on the card and placed the flags and heart down.  I stamped the love you with Ranger Archival Ink and Hero Arts Chalk ink in Punch and that was about it!   Hope you like it :)

I am going to put this card in The Paper Players Challenge & the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge also.

Thanks for stopping by x

The Alley Way Stamps - Ghoul-Friend

I've got another card for you using a stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps.  They have a great new set, Ghoul-Friend which I used to make this card.  I had to cut the sentiment to fit across my banner, I was a bit nervous I must admit, but it worked out great!

I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Candy Cane Strip to emboss the white cardstock for the background. I white heat embossed the mummy onto a black cardstock circle I had cut out, and put some white gel pen around the edge.  I heat embossed the sentiment as well and wrapped some green ribbon from my stash around the base. :)

I am going to put this card in the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge, the Dynamic Duos Challenge and the Catered Crop - use a knot.

Thanks for spending some of your time viewing my blog!

The Alley Way Stamps - BE Inspired #11

It is time for another BE Inspired challenge at The Alley Way Stamps.  You must use one of the Alley Way Stamps but don't worry if you don't have any, you can find the freebies here.  Head to the TAWS blog to get all the details (including prizes!).

I went with the pumpkin theme for my tag.  I stamped the pumpkins from the Ghoul-Friend set onto white cardstock and coloured them with Copics and put some glossy accents on them.  I also used the bat and sentiment from the same set :)

Thanks for looking x

The Alley Way Stamps - Bunches of Love

Hi, I have a 'girly' CAS card to share with you today. I wanted to use some new embossing powder I recently purchased.  It is pink Zing glitter finish embossing powder and I think it looks great with this flower from The Alley Way Stamps set 'Awesome Blossom'.  I also added an embossed panel on the bottom and added a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you check out The Alley Way Stamps store and blog!!

The Alley Way Stamps - Thanks

I just love the Awesome Blossom stamp set that has just been released for The Alley Way Stamps.  It has so many great flower images you can use and also the cutest butterflies.  I have used the larger butterfly as the focal point on my card.  I stamped them in Chestnut Roan chalk ink onto Hawaiian Shores cardstock and then after cutting them out, I covered them in rock candy Distress Stickles.  I used  a sentiment from the Jibber Jabber set to finish off the card. :)

I am going to put this card in the Stampin' Royalty color challenge #140 and the Simon Say Stamp Challenge - put a stamp on it.

Thanks for visiting my blog x

Happy Happy Birthday!!

I love the colours for the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week so I just had to make a card.  I used the latest sketch from Retrosketches but changed the placement a bit.

I am also going to link my card up to the Young Crafters Unite Challenge #13 - Hot Trends.

Thanks for visiting my blog! :)

Home

Hi, I made this card using colours from the latest ColourQ Challenge and the theme 'Family' from the CASology challenge.

I mounted some brown and white cardstock on a white card, embossing the white card with the PTI simple stripes impression plate.  I heat embossed the house from the Hero Arts 'Right at Home' set and then cut out one of the windows and added some 'curtains' to bring in some more colour.  I added some punched hearts and put some glossy accents on the coral coloured one.  I finished it off with a sentiment from the same Hero Arts set and added some cappucino twine.

As I did some embossing on this card I am also going to put it in the embossing challenge at A Blog Named Hero

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Challenges

I made my card using the sketch from the latest Lawnscaping Challenge.  I used one of the butterflies and a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn 'Flutter By' set.  I coloured the butterfly with Prismacolor pencils and wrapped it with some lawn trimmings natural cord.  I also used a new embossing folder, it is one of two in a set called 'Whimsy' from Lifestyle Crafts.  I seem to be accumulating quite a few embossing folders lately........ I think I might have a problem :)

I am also going to put this card in the CFC69 Challenge - Embossing and the Young Crafters Unite Challenge #13 - Hot Trends.
