TAWS - BE Inspired #10

It is time for another BE Inspired challenge at The Alley Way Stamps.  You must use one of the Alley Way Stamps but don't worry if you don't have any, you can find the freebies here.  Head to the TAWS blog to get all the details (including prizes!).

I used the background basic and jibber jabber sets to make my card for the latest BE Inspired challenge.  It is a gorgeous inspiration photo, so many ideas came to mind but this is what I came up with. :)

I am going to put this in the latest ColourQ Challenge #152, even though it doesn't look so in the photo, the twine and leaves are different shades. :)  I also going to pop it in the Simon Say Stamp Anything Goes Challenge.

The Alley Way Stamps - Sneak Peek

There are some fantastic sets being released this month.  I used the 'ghoul friend' set to make my card, I used four images from the set.  It is my first ever halloween card as we don't celebrate it here in Australia but I had so much fun making it, can't wait to make another!

Make sure you stop by The Alley Way Stamps Blog if you haven't already, as they are giving away a stamp set each day during their sneak peeks, and you have the chance to win all three new sets during the blog hop coming up soon!  Check out the blog for further details.

Thanks for stopping by :)

The Alley Way Stamps - Ghoul Friend

Catered Crop - Guest Design Team Member

This is my second post for today, to go to The Alley Way Stamps post click here

I was lucky enough to have my card chosen as one of the winners last week at the Catered Crop and as a result I am a guest design team member this week.  The theme this week is No Stress to Distress.

I decided to use distress ink and markers for my tag.  I used Distress Ink in 'antique linen' to distress the edges of the tag and I used a Distress Marker in 'aged mahogany' and 'forest moss' to colour the embossed flower and also to colour the white ribbon.

Make sure you stop by the Catered Crop Blog and add your creations.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I really appreciate it :)

I also going to put this in the latest Hero Arts Clean & Simple Challenge.

The Alley Way Stamps - Love U

I've made a mini card to share with you today.  I used the heart from the Cover-Ups set from The Alley Way Stamps and also the Alphabet Soup set to make the sentiment.

I stamp the hearts and then coloured them in with distress markers, I attached the sentiment with pop up dots and added a PTI pure poppy button after threading it with Sew Easy floss. I finished it off by rounding one of the corners. :)

Head over to The Alley Way Stamps blog for more inspiration!

Thanks for visiting my blog today x

TAWS BE inspired #9

It's time for another BE Inspired challenge with The Alley Way Stamps.  What a colourful and happy challenge picture!  I made a CAS card using the bright colours from the picture.  I stamped an image from the stamp set, Get the Point? onto patterned paper and used a sentiment from the Jibber Jabber set.

To enter the challenge you must use one of the Alley Way Stamps but don't worry if you don't have any, you can find the freebies here.  Head to the TAWS blog to get all the details (including prizes!).
