CFC #58 - Pretty In Pink

Yay for pink! I just had to do a card for the latest Cas-ual Fridays Challenge.  I usually use a brighter pink when I use pink, but I decided to go with a more subtle shade this time.

Well I'm pretty happy right now and am happy to have 'played a bit and had some ME time'.  Everything is good :) I am pretty excited about something that happened yesterday and I'll share soon.  I think it is my lucky week!!

Thanks for looking, I appreciate the time you have taken to visit :)

Dynamic Duos #8

Just a really quick post before I have to race off to work. I really like the shades of green in this weeks dynamic duos colour challenge, so I just had to make a card :)  I like the way my card turned out apart from maybe the sentiment being a bit large?  I only recently got the Penny Black stamp and wanted to use it though!

Hope you like it, have a great day!

PDCC #137 & Hero Arts Challenge

I managed to fit a card in today, it took a number of goes to finish it, but I am happy with the way it has turned out.  I got to use my new Etched Flowers Hero Arts cling stamp, so that made me happy.  I am going to put this in the latest Play Date Cafe Challenge which is black, white & blue.

I am also going to put it in the Hero Arts 'Thinking of You' challenge & Jay Gee's Nook Challenge #20.

Thanks for visiting my blog x

The Paper Players Challenge #99 & YCU #10

Great colours again on The Paper Players challenge this week.  I pulled out my silver metallic Zing embossing powder and had some fun!

Thanks for looking x

DD#6, RS#15 & CFC56

I love pink and grey together, so when I saw the Dynamic Duos colours this week I just had to make time to do a card.  The Retrosketches sketch this week is fantastic so I decided to combine them both.  It took me a while to pick out what papers I wanted to use, I've realised I have many paper pads with pink in them!  I still used my favourite, a lot of white and I used my favourite butterfly stamp as well.  I actually inked a different butterfly stamp but I didn't like the look of it so I changed back to my fav again.  :)

This weeks CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to create a clean & simple project with polka dots. I love polka dots, I have used them in the pink of the card so I thought I would put it in that challenge as well.

Thanks for visiting my blog, have a great day! x
