Hi, thanks for stopping by.  Our new challenge is all about paper piecing.  My card probably isn't the best example as I have only added a small amount on my card, so make sure you pop over to the Little Tangles blog and check out the fab creations by the other design team members.

I used the Hello Sunshine set on my card, isn't the little girl just the cutest?! Once I had stamped the image I masked it off and stamped the Punchinella background stamp over the top in Delicata Golden Glitz ink.  It looks so pretty in real life.

I stamped the image again on some patterned paper and then cut out the dress, bow and socks and added them to the image.  I added the panel to a black card base and added some strips of paper to the edges to add some more colour.  I partially stamped the Hello Sunshine sentiment on black card stock before heat embossing it in white and adding it to the card.

Well that's it for me, I hope you can join in this fun challenge.  Don't forget there is a stamp set of your choice from Neat and Tangled to be won!

Hello PP LT

I am going to put this card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything goes :)

Little Tangles #60 - Colour Combo Mint & Gold

4 September 2015

Hi.  I LOVE the colour combo this challenge.  I love anything with Gold but Mint and Gold, swoon.....
I've used the Hello There die and cut it a number of times from cardstock and then finally from some gold paper.  I heat embossed one of the flowers from the Handstiched set a number of times and coloured them in with some watercolours.  After fussy cutting them out I put them on a panel of white card that I had put some embossing paste on with a stencil from Kaisercraft.  I added a strip of gold and put the panel on a Steel Grey card base :)

Hope you can play along, link your cards up HERE

Welcome Baby - CAS on Sunday #65

22 August 2015

Welcome Baby

Welcome Baby

I made this card for my best friend's daughter who recently had the most beautiful baby girl.  I hope she likes it.

I watercoloured underneath the vellum piece I sewed on.  You can't see a lot of the watercolouring but I like the subtle look it gives.

I am going to put this in the CAS on Sunday challenge - Vellum.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Little Tangles Challenge #59 - Birthday

6 August 2015

Hi.  Our new challenge is a project relating to 'Birthday'.  I am always needing birthday cards so it was a great challenge for me.

I heat embossed the balloon images from the Just For You stamp set from Neat and Tangled, and watercoloured them using my distress ink pads.  After fussy cutting them I placed them around a MFT die cut, added some metallic thread and added the sentiment from the same set which I had also heat embossed and fussy cut.

I love the way the watercolour looks, I am waiting for a Kuretake Gansai Tambi set to arrive (yay!) but I must say I am pretty impressed with the look you can get from distress inks.

Well I hope you can join us.......... you can link your birthday project up here!

I am also going to join in the Seize the Birthday Challenge - Embossing.

Thanks so much for stopping by x

Little Tangles Challenge #58 - Die-Cutting

2 July 2015

Hello, your going to love the latest Little Tangles Challenge, it's Die-Cutting!

I used the Tiny Triangles die to cut out my panel which I then coloured with distress ink.  I added a splash of water at the end and I love how it turned out!  I added the die cut word and heart and that was about it finished.

If you love die-cutting as much as me then make sure you play along, you can link up here. Don't forget there is a Neat and Tangled stamp set to be won!

See you again soon!
