Little Tangles Challenge #45 - 15 Minute Challenge

Well I was a little worried when I saw what the latest challenge was here at Little Tangles as I am SO slow when making a card.  To make it in the time frame I really planned what I was going to do and what products to use before I started.  Normally I just play around as I go.  Plus I am really fussy which doesn't help......  I'm very happy to say I made it in 13 minutes and 14 seconds!!

I wouldn't say I'm in love with this card, but I still like it.  And it looks SO much better in real life.  The Delicata Golden Glitz ink that I used for the background is so sparkly and pretty.  Unfortunately the photo doesn't capture that.

Little Tangles Challenge #44 - Sketch

Hi!  We have a fun sketch for you to play along with at Little Tangles this challenge.

I went with the sketch as is and had fun with some inks.  I white heat embossed the Sunburst stamp and coloured it in with some Memento Luxe inks (I LOVE them, so creamy and bright!)  I die cut the inked stamped image and adhered it to some white card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Neat & Tangled Everyday Labels set and adhered it to the card along with a heart I punched and added glossy accents to.

I am also playing along with the STAMPtember Stamp It and Blog Hop at Simons Says.

Hope you can come and play along....... come on it will be fun ;)

Little Tangles Challenge #43 - Create a Gift

Hi there.  Just popping in quickly to tell you about the latest Little Tangles Challenge, it's all about creating a gift.  I haven't made anything apart from a card for quite a while now so it was fun to make something different.

I made a gift bag, covering the front with some patterned paper and cardstock.  I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Neat and Tangles set,  Just For You and cut it out.  I put some foam tape on it and put it on top of some die cuts, and it was basically finished.  I thought it needed something else so I added some white gel pen, which made it look a bit better I think.  Now in case your wondering what's inside, I don't think you can go past some yummy Lindt chocolate balls, a few may have been eaten while creating.... ;)

Little Tangles Challenge #42 - Happy Birthday!

I have just gotten back from a lovely cruise with family, we had a great time but poor hubby got struck down with a bad flu and spent the last four days in bed, so that part wasn't good.  We will just have to go on another one now to make up for it!

I'm always needing birthday cards so I was very pleased to see that the latest challenge for Little Tangles was 'happy birthday'.  I white heat embossed the Tiny Triangles stamp and inked over the top using some Memento Luxe inks.  I love these inks, so vibrant.  As the background was so bright I didn't think it needed must else so I mounted it onto a black card base and added a sentiment I had stamped and cut out from the Everyday Labels set.

I hope you play along with us, link up your projects HERE.
